Our attorneys have also been retained to represent clients throughout the country in states such as California, Florida, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Craig Gilgallon

Craig S. Gilgallon

One of the founding members of Pawar Gilgallon & Rudy, LLC. His practice includes residential and commercial real estate closings, full-service business practice for all business entities, estate administration, estate planning and land use. He is dedicated to the efficient handling of transactional matters. Experience has shown us that responsiveness to clients, attention to detail and knowledge of the relevant laws are the keys to achieving a successful result. Importantly, we recognize that each client has different needs, and each matter requires a different combination of skills to meet those needs.

Business Practice For All Business Entities

Our firm offers a full-service business practice for all business entities, structures, and organizations, public and private, including handling all significant as well as day-to-day matters and issues. Our focus is value-added, cost-effective, responsive, and practical advice. We provide our clients with commercial contract review, advice, drafting, negotiating, and execution in licensing, outsourcing, supply, distribution, service, employment, technology and manufacturing.

In our transactional practice, we advise and represent clients in many types and sizes of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, corporate recapitalizations, restructurings and reorganizations; alternative entities (partnerships, limited liability companies, business trusts, etc.); joint ventures and employment, licensing and other corporate arrangements; private and public placements of debt and equity securities; private equity investments; initial public offerings; domestic and cross border tax-advantaged transactions; project finance; etc. In our diverse practice, we handle the above situations and events for clients from mid-sized and early stage to larger multi-nationals, as well as investment firms, both privately and publicly owned.

With our representation in financial transactions, we represent borrowers and lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including long and short-term traditional working capital, asset-based credit facilities, bridge loans and acquisition financings, secured/unsecured, leveraged leasing, syndications, and participations, handling all aspects from negotiation and documentation to closing. We also introduce our valued clients to our many traditional and non-traditional lending, financing and funding sources and relationships.

Estate Planning and Administration

Understandably, you might feel overwhelmed and not clear about your responsibilities as an Executor or Administrator. We will work closely with you to address your responsibilities and fulfill your role, such as:

  • Gathering assets
  • Notifying beneficiaries
  • Paying bills of the estate
  • Selling a home or liquidating assets
  • Transferring deeds and re-titling assets
  • Disbursements to heirs
  • Filing tax returns and accounting statements

If any disputes arise, we will act quickly to secure your rights and defend the service you have provided.

Probate Representation

  • Our firm can also provide the following services:
  • Assisting Executors who live in other states
  • Petitioning the probate court for your appointment as administrator if the person died intestate (without a will)
  • Serving as a third-party administrator if there is a family dispute
  • Keeping tabs on an executor to prevent unfair distribution (e.g., exclusion of step-children or half-siblings)
  • Representing clients in breach of fiduciary duty accusations

Representing Condominium Associations and Co-op Corporations

Our firm has substantial experience representing cooperative corporations and condominium associations throughout northern New Jersey.

General Counsel Community Association Lawyer

Our firm provides general counsel to condominium associations and co-op corporations in assessment collection, document interpretation, rules enforcement, and conversions from rentals to home ownership, tax appeals, and all aspects of litigation, including claims against sponsors involving construction defects or other financial claims.

Robert J. Rudy III

Robert J. Rudy III

Prior to being a founding member of the Firm, He maintained his own general practice law firm since 1999. His practice includes civil and criminal litigation, real estate matters, estate planning, municipal court, and family practice. Throughout his career, Mr. Rudy has successfully handled numerous personal injury matters, employment disputes, criminal matters, real estate transactions and litigation. Mr. Rudy currently serves as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Town of Morristown. He is a former member of the Morristown Zoning Board and served as the Vice Chair.
